By car : It's sometimes difficult to find parking space, but at the end of the Sumatrakade, at the head of Java-eiland there is enough (paid) parking spots to be found. From the Ring (A10): Ring A10, exit number 114 - Zeeburg, then follow direction centrum, through the Piet Hein-tunnel, follow signs for "de eilanden" until you reach the Oostelijke Handelskade. Turn right under the Afrika pakhuis (warehouse) onto the Jan Schaefer bridge. This will bring you onto the Kattenburgerstraat at the head of Java-eiland. Follow the road alongside the water until you come to Azart-plein. From Centraal Station: Follow De Ruyterkade eastwards (this runs behind the station), this later turns into Piet Heijnkade. Pass the Passagiersterminal (Passengers Terminal) on your left, and after a little while turn left onto the Jan Schaefer bridge (under Afrika warehouse). This will bring you onto the Kattenburgerstraat at the head of Java-eiland. Follow the road alongside the water until you come to Azart-plein.
